Calibration accuracy of requirement factor and sorption studies for fertilizer recommendation

چکیده
The inconsistent and incoherent approaches by fertilizer recommendations to index crop response has prompted the search for alternative approaches. Some of problems stem from overlooking fundamental soil properties that govern solution, which is where plant roots absorb nutrients growth. A comparison was made between two contrasting equilibration techniques evaluate their precision in estimating response. Sorption isotherms phosphorus (P) potassium (K) were compared requirement factors. Phosphorus sorption determined following batch technique. Potassium developed with graded K levels. factors both P a 6-week incubation four different levels fertilization. Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata), mustard (Brassica juncea), maize (Zea mays) used as test crops. growth parameters measured included biomass (g), height (cm), leaf area index. At harvest, yield (g pot−1) uptake (mg also recorded. Linear correlation studies carried out association treatments tested Results showed no significant difference (p < 0.05) methods, despite higher K. 1.7 9.8 times than respective response, although relatively similar weakly correlated sorption-estimated nutrient levels, indicating an overestimation nutrients. Therefore, deemed be more precise technique

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
postnatal studies of bats (pipistrellus kuhlii and miniopterus schreibersii) & histomorphology and histochemistry studies of organs and diseases of (neurergus microspilotus and n. kaiseri)
1. to determine whether difference in birth body mass influenced growth performance in pipistrellus kuhlii we studied a total of 12 captive-born neonates. bats were assigned to two body mass groups: light birth body mass (lbw: 0.89 ± 0.05, n=8) and heavy birth body mass (hbw: 1.35 ± 0.08, n=4). heavier body mass at birth was associated with rapid postnatal growth (body mass and forearm length) ...
Starting Dose Calculation for Medicinal Plants in Animal Studies; Recommendation of a Simple and Reliable Method
Background and purpose: Research studies indicate that almost 80% of the present day drugs are derived directly or indirectly from medicinal plants. The estimation of a safe starting dose is a concern when a new substance is to be investigated including medicinal plants, in clinical and laboratory studies. This study was intended to explore a simple and reliable method of calcu...

Recommendation for fertilizer application for soils via qualitative reasoning
In Brazil, liming and fertilization are essential practices in agriculture due to the soils being acidic and poor in nutrients. Distinct decision tables that serve as support for recommendation of fertilizer application are used, but one of their features is that they are based on a strictly quantitative analysis of input variables. This sometimes causes di®culties in their use when calculating...
